Great news!
PJ will do a full 90 minutes show in Nottingham for the Labrador Rescue Charity on Friday 11 April 2014.
Just put the date in your diary now and more news will follow soon!
Nottingham is nicely central situated and people could come there from all over the UK and Europe. Nottingham has the East Midlands Airport!
As it looks like The Greenroom is not happening anymore, this will be a great replacement for the shows in Liverpool and a great place for the fans to meet up. Like Liverpool, this cosy venue has Vegas-style tables and serves drinks and snacks. Pj will be very near the audience, which will make the show extra special. P.J. will be backed by Stretch and his band and Katie Parker will join them on saxophone! The band may even do a support act as an extra! PJ will give his all for the Labrador Rescue and this promises to be a very, very special full show where PJ will certainly mention that it's 50 years ago that The Beatles introduced him to the UK and the world!! This will be a very memorable, historic 50 years anniversary show!
Tickets are limited and you will have to buy them in good time. There are only 200 tickets available and they are 25 pound. The profits will go to the Labrador Rescue Charity East-Midlands and you will contribute to giving a Labrador a good home! Also there will be an auction or raffle, with some very special signed Proby articles.
More info will follow very soon!

Another special show to look forward to.As you say it will be
the real 50th Anniversary in 2014.I first saw PJ live in 1965,  I think his dogs have always been there keeping PJ company, so it's very appropriate.
Sounds a great venue and nice to see the same backing people.

Three songs P.J. could add to his Nottingham act because of the canine connection: "Hound Dog", "Walkin' The Dog" & the sentimental "Old Shep".
Incidentally why won't P.J. be doing the Greenroom anymore...everything O.K. with Ricky??

Hi Ron,
Everything is fine with Ricky, no problem. PJ may do The Greenroom again at a later date.

Here's a bit sharper image from the HouseOfProby website!
Please write down the telephone numbers and let us know if you're attending!
Beargrove, Sussi and Kathy have already confirmed. Björn will do the filming and Kathy&Sussi will do the merchandise.
Thank You!

Great news Pauline! Yes, everybody best phone on weekdays in the daytime, as these telephone numbers are home numbers of volunteers!
Let's keep each other informed here about hotels and whether you will stay overnight, etc, as I'm sure people will want to meet up!
Anybody familiar with hotels in Nottingham? Maybe the people selling tickets would know?
It will be good!

Booked my ticket. You have to do a bank transfer or send a cheque, no bank cards taken.
I asked the lady about hotels and she said there are lots of hotels in city centre so will look on internet.

Björn has also booked a room at the Nottingham Hilton! See his posts on the The Delphi Forum....
It looks like  a nice, not too expensive hotel and is not too far from the venue.
I hope you'll all have fun there!
