Following his decision to quit drinking over sixteen years ago
his presence now is more powerful and completely dependable.
Proby celebrates his 70th birthday in 2008,
a year which has included a sell-out tour
of the UK, the release on iTunes of his
"20th Century Hits" album of recent
recordings and a definitive "Best Of"
collection from the EMI group which is sure
to create a lot of nostalgia for the man and
his timeless legacy of song.
